We are seeking your opinion on whether Palo Altans for Sensible Zoning (PASZ) should publicly endorse four candidates for the Palo Alto City Council.
The upcoming election on November 4th is critical because the new City Council will be responsible for approval of the Comprehensive Plan which will affect the future of Palo Alto for the next 20 years.
PASZ recognizes that we need a new majority on the City Council that will make decisions that protect and improve the quality of life (density, traffic, schools) for Palo Alto residents.
In order to have an effective Council majority we must elect FOUR candidates who will support the goals embodied in the PASZ Principles. In our opinion, the four candidates who meet these criteria are:
If Tom, Lydia, Eric, and Karen are elected, they, together with Councilmember Greg Schmid, will be a effective 5-member majority on the council to resist future overdevelopment.
