Cheryl Lilienstein, Barron Park

Cheryl Lilienstein is a Physical Therapist and community activist. She helped alert the public and elected officials about the fraud capacity inherent in electronic voting systems, and assisted in the messaging, citizen actions at hearings, challenges to elections officials’ assertions about electronic “security,” and development of a lawsuit that resulted in the use of paper ballots in all counties (except San Mateo county) in the state of California.


Joseph Hirsch, Barron Park

Joe Hirsch was an attorney with Syntex Corporation for 25 years. He still provides various legal services to select clients in the pharmaceutical industry.

He was a member of the Terman Working Group in the early ’80s and a Palo Alto Planning Commissioner from 1983-1991. He has lived in Green Acres area of Palo Alto in the same house since January 1974. He is married with 5 children and 9 grandchildren.


Tom DuBois, Midtown

Tom was born in Ohio and has lived in Mountain View, Tokyo, New York, Boston, Florida, London, San Clemente, and Chicago before settling in Palo Alto in 1997. A serial entrepreneur with degrees in electrical engineering and business, Tom has started and run several companies as well as worked in larger organizations such as Electronic Arts and Nielsen Media Research.  

Residing in Midtown with his wife and two children, Tom is passionate about Palo Alto and its neighborhoods. He and his wife have been active in the Palo Alto schools and youth sports programs for years.

Eric Filseth, Downtown North

Eric worked for twenty-five years in the semiconductor and computer-aided-design software industry, most recently as CEO of Ciranova, Inc.  Previously he was a corporate vice president at Cadence Design Systems, Inc, where he spent 16 years.  He is currently a part-time cleantech investor and cycling enthusiast.  He graduated from Stanford in 1983 with a degree in electrical engineering, and from UCLA in 1988 with an MBA.

Eric and his wife, Dr. Tina Peak, have lived in Downtown North since 1991. They have two boys currently in Palo Alto High School.


Tim Gray, Charleston Meadows

NOTE:  Tim Gray is on Sabbatical during the 2016 Election

Tim Gray is the owner of Treasury Advocates and a Finance/Accounting Management Consultant to the healthcare and biotech industry. Charleston Meadows resident. Father of three children that travel the Maybell “Safe route to school.”


Maurice Green, Barron Park

Maurice Green received a BA in chemistry from Drew University and a PhD in Biochemsitry from the University of Arizona in 1967. In his career as a medical laboratory director he worked at the National Institutes of Health, Soroka Medical Center in Beersheva Israel and Stanford Hospital. After retirement he returned to his interests in photography, video production and computers. He and his wife have lived in Barron Square for 22 years where he is President of the HOA. Maury is President and Webmaster of the Silicon Valley Computer Society and teaches computer and web design classes at Foothill College.


Paul Machado, Evergreen Park

Paul was in County government for over 28 years. He was born in Palo Alto and is a lifetime resident of Evergreen Park. He earned degrees from San Jose State and Santa Clara Universities. He is married with one child.
